I wish that this video came out sooner. A lot of type 4 curlies reviewed your products and didn't like them, and I figured that they were using too much product. This video was very informative.

It’s ok! Everyone who has asked a question has gotten an answer. I understand there’s a learning curve having professional concentrated products available outside salon so the amount and how you apply are different. I’m creating content to show and help you all and I appreciate you watching! 💜

Ms Vena - yep!!! I watched a lot of reviews and I also get the feeling that people are expecting their hair to look exactly like Mo’s. We all have different textures and curl patterns so it’s all about trial and adjustment and following instructions.

MoKnowsHair, this is one of the best videos I've seen about a wash and go. You explained everything in detail, used products that helped in many ways but mainly to minimize the detangling process.(Thank you Jesus 😂) I was sold then.😊 Anything that cuts my time detangling and I get a good result I'm in. This motivated me so that I can reset my mindset about my hair, the way I do my hair and improve on my process plus save more time. Thank you so much. I wish I could hug you and have you do my hair some day.😁😏😘💖 Just thought I would throw that last thought in there. 😂

I always loved how WashNGo’s look on different textures I just think it’s such a unique style because nobody’s hair is the same. I personally throughout my journey have not attempted a WashNGo on my type 4 hair but I’m definitely trying it with your products. I appreciate you doing these videos to show how to properly use your products (Yes I have them, just haven’t used them yet lol).

I’m finally writing a review after a month using the products. I purchased the hair line via Sally Beauty promotion of 4 for $20. I purchased the gel , Primer, deep conditioner, pudding and styling lotion. It took me some time to figure out the best combination that went with my desired results which was a little frustrating but I remember a video of Mo saying when trying hair products try them multiple times to truly see how they work. I do love the scent of the products as well as each product I purchased but for my desired style of twist outs normally the best combination for me was the primer, styling lotion, my own oil and the gel. My hair lasted about 5 days out and 2 more days with a ponytail. I really like the products!

Love this video! You’ve helped so much on my natural hair journey and this thanksgiving I’m celebrating 5 years natural! My issue is I have different curl textures in my hair. Most of my hair is similar to your client’s texture but I have looser curls in the front and tighter curls in the crown. I’m going to invest in a hair dryer because my hair takes a minimum 24 hours to air dry.

I like the point you brought out about if you do things to force stretch your hair you can lose elasticity. I am experiencing this and in the process of rebuilding my hair back. My hair doesn't even like twist outs but for so long became it stretches my curls. My hair always seems like its just been straightened and its going through heat damage after its been stretched. Now I know because of you to stay away from excess stretching. Thanks Mo!!!
@MieshaMarie4 жыл бұрын
I always thought stretching was ok as long as you don’t use heat. A lady once told me that braids ruin your curl pattern because it stretches out the hair. I didn’t believe her but this is the second time I’ve heard this.
@MoKnowsHair4 жыл бұрын
Your hair has curl bonds that reform when you dry your hair after shampoo/conditioning, if you continuously don’t allow them to reform in their natural shape, and force-stretch to dry the hair, eventually you could experience “loss of curl pattern” or loss of elasticity which can appear in the roots, mid sections or the whole strand.
@MieshaMarie4 жыл бұрын
MoKnowsHair so allowing the hair to dry in its natural curl pattern, then stretching is ok?

Girl, thank you for your ministry🙌🏽🙌🏽. I picked your line up and love it so far. But I do have a question about shedding, how do you know if it’s a normal amount vs excessive. I only brush my hair out 1x week, due to braid outs, but on wash day it seems like a lot. Looking forward to the shampoo being released.
@MoKnowsHair4 жыл бұрын
On average, hair sheds 50-100 strands a day so after a week, it could be what looks like a lot... lengthy hair will also “look” like more is shedding because there’s more strand. If your shedding is steadily increasing or your hair looks/feels visibly thinner than 3-6 months ago, have your iron and thyroid checked. 💜
