So sad he left Pgh.,PA.!! He was always soft & brought God's word down to a teens level! God opened the door for His will to be done!!!

Look, I can by no means say that I agree with Cardinal Wuerl on everything. But I can say I see in this man, a priest, a bishop who truly is in love with God and His Church. He is not power hungry, he is not about money and pomp, but about being a servant of God. He did a most holy job in rooting out sex abuse in his Archdiocese, he offers Mass with reverence (for a Novus Ordo - I am SSPX), and he is a holy Shepherd.

Jacob Snell Cardinal Donald Wuerl will always be my Bishop.. I miss his homilies, words of inspiration and his daily rosaries so much! Especially used to look forward to his Italian Festival masses every summer.. btw., I've always believed, that, imho he's going to go even further than any could ever imagine!
