I am experiencing a lot of tangling and shedding of this hair. Will washing help this. I’ve had my install for 2 weeks and I’m not loving this hair at all. I am wearing the new blonde color that just came out. Is it because of the lighter color. Any suggestions to help the shedding and tangling would be awesome. I’ve been wearing boho locs for years and I’m a fan and loyal customer. I’m just struggling now on what to do to maintain this hair which is more high maintenance to me. Thank you 🙏🏽

Yes, thank you, BL!! That's my question as well! While I appreciate the video and knowing how to wash the ends, I need to know about the scalp as well bc I ALWAYS co-wash my scalp during protective styles. Also, want to know if you can care for your scalp with oils and leave-in sprays while these locs are in and if so is there a particular method to be used?

Hey, no we still don't advise washing the mermaid locs, however if you do just take extra care (plaiting them out of the way) 🥰
