The Black and bronze jersey is definitely my favorite. Red-blue-white is such a boring/common combination that I've grown really tired of it. The bronze is very unique and refreshing.

I like the capitals sticking to the historical consistency being Red white blue, but also being consistent of washington DC symbols, like the 3 stars and thr eagle logo which looks consistent with US Govt symbolisms

Very good! Idk about you guys, But in my opinion, The Capitals are one of the few teams in the league to never have bad jerseys. Even their current set and the black capitol jersey look good, and their 2018 Stadium jersey looks good!

It was interesting to hear your list of Caps favorites. Having started watching them in the late 70's and all through the 80's those jerseys seemed most like 'real' jerseys to me. The styling is uniquely ours, Ovechkin hoisted the Cup in it and I think it should be retired when him and Backstrom hang 'em up. 3. 1995 Screaming Eagle set. 4. The Capitol Black. 5. 2011 Winter Classic/1974 Jersey 6. 2015 Alternate/1974 Dark 7. 2015 Winter Classic 8. 2018 Stadium Series 9. The current Alternate.

As a Caps fan, I hope the best is yet to come. I actually like the capitol building jersey, though I seem to be in minority. However, since the identity is red (rock the red etc.), I'd love to see a red capitol jersey. Or just do something to have a proper logo instead of the text one. It's so boring.

Hey Neil, I was able to get my hands in a true authentic Winter classic jersey from 2015 and the “W” on the jersey I have is not anything like the plastic sound material that yours sounds like. My jersey is a Reebok Edge 3.0 I think? I’m not as knowledgeable on jerseys like you are though

For me, rebrands are a “winning” thing. You see teams who have won championships in all sports that probably have better retro jerseys (seahawks, caps, islanders). Teams who rebrand and then don’t win a championship normally revert back to the original

The 90s jersey watched with the wizards and mystics jerseys was good for a time but didn't last and took away from thr history so yeah the red currents is the way to go, the off color blue gold WIZARDS Look just wasn't consistent enough, the screaming eagle stars need to change to three thr bottom 2 should have 2 stripes like the DC flag.

The Washington Capitals have the worst jerseys in the NHL. They also have the worst history. The 1974 home and away set are the worst jerseys in the history of the NHL for me. The best jersey they ever had was, I agree, the screaming eagle in blue and beige. I would like to see the Capitals get rid of their entire brand and move to blue and beige eagle-related designs in a more modern set. The blue and beige weagle concept designs are pretty designs (and almost any Washington concepts in red and blue are just dead on arrival to me, sorry concept designers).
