Maybe its just me, but whenever I see built in speakers all I can think about is how much more expensive they will be to fix/replace. Anyone who has looked at older houses, especially in MD, has probably seen the built-in intercom systems from the 90's that no longer work and have just become an eye sore.

@@hotman1234ish I hear you, heres the thing… the cost of a home isn’t purely about size/square footage. Location always plays the biggest role in pricing. It’s not as simple as ‘less space means it should cost less’ or ‘more space means it should cost more.’ Using that logic, there are tons of 4,000 sq ft homes sitting empty in certain neighborhoods across America because no one wants to live there. I won’t name any cities, but you get the idea. People pay a premium to live in certain areas, some areas offer more amenities and convenience and that comes at a cost and buyers have different priorities. Someone might pay $500K for a one bedroom condo because they want to downsize into a highly desirable neighborhood, and to them, it’s worth every penny, not having to deal with multiple flights of stairs alone might make it a great investment. It’s not just about the size of the asset, it’s about the value that asset provides to the person buying it and most importantly where it is located. That’s how value is determined.
