This one time i stayed at a hotel in Norfolk , went out back to take the trash out , saw about 20 rats running across a chain link fence at the top like some sort of rodent train

We stayed a few blocks away from the White House a few years ago around Christmas time, and went out to the park with the Pulaski statue at night, and it was funny to more or less chase the rats. They seemed to understand I wasn't actually chasing them to step on them, so they'd peek out at me and make funny noises sometimes. There had to have been dozens of them out each night, in each park. They need to bring in the guy with the trained mink again - he has been there before, but needs to come back again :D

I was in DC in 2016, just been to The Irish Times pub, not far from Grand Union Station, a rubbish bin opposite the station, it was crawling with rats, as the buses pulled in. Horrible site.

I worked in Wash DC on a Few Contracts. Definitely saw quite a few rats!

I work in DC right around the corner from the capital bldg. Rats SURROUND my building every night.

Yep, sat on a bench in DC and watched rats rummaging through peoples bags almost as soon as they put them down. The homeless guys knew but the tourists were clueless.

It's rather fitting that this is in the capital of the US. Another rat infested sewer in NYC. As of this writing I'm trying to figure out what the commonality is as not an American.

Joseph and crew did a clip in DC a few years ago... he needs to make it a regular trip, the rats in DC are numerous and huge. They were focused on some drainage channel in most of the video - no idea where in town that was... but yeah they should set up shop right by the Treasury building late at night (White House off in the background of the shot) and swarm the grounds... let the mink and dogs go to town. :D The amount of rats by the Pulaski statute down the road from there a few blocks was astonishing a few winters ago.

It's not just Washington, DC. "Next door" (just across the bridge) in Arlington Virginia has become infested with them (after the pandemic & the county allowed more outdoor dining on the sidewalks & streets). It's disgusting. Wed. 4/03/2024

I have a standard poodle and a Yorkshire Terrier poodle cross that would be in heaven if they were there, there be a lot of dead rats and a couple of happy dogs LOL and I would be there with them with a hockey stick and I be launching those rats into the wall like a puck LOL

Those rats looked small compared to the rat I once saw in DC on my way to work in the morning on Pennsylvania Avenue. The rat was larger than a big cat. It was so big, I dared not hit it with my Camaro (which sort of sits low to the road) because I was afraid the rat would damage my car! DC and all cities should do more to abate the rats.

We were at a park in Brooklyn ready to walk over the Brooklyn bridge at night and my daughter bought a basket of strawberries. We walked through this park near the bridge. And a rat ran up to my daughter making my daughter drop the strawberries and all these rats ran out and got a strawberry each and ran back into hiding. My daughter was mad at me for not preventing that. Those rats scared me too. :)
