It's not even the war on America. It seems to be the war on all liberty loving, independent minded people. Look at what the WEF wants to do. Look at what Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Austria did during the pandemic. Sweden, and some states in the U.S. weren't quite so harsh. Being careful, and protecting vulnerable populations is of course necessary, but the lengthy forced shutdowns? I think that was quite horrid, and unnecessary. We need a Constitutional amendment that covers a couple issues. One, establish a speaking podium in the Senate and House at which one stands and speak is automatically under oath (oath is taken at swearing into office). I don't think you could make a blanket law against lying even for elected officials. IT would lead to disaster with political enemies making charges against each other for every little inaccuracy. But define a speaking dais then one could challenge others to stand and speak from there. Two, establish 9 justices in the SCOTUS. A third may be to make it a crime to have a pattern of non-enforcement of the law. (It could only address Federal Law, I believe, and States would have to make their own versions.) Individual descension would remain but people harmed by blanket non-enforcement could sue prosecutors and law enforcement. If a Mayor or Governor gives a direct order to ignore a law then they would be open to litigation too. Just show a pattern of intentional non-enforcement and the harm to the plaintiff. Bad laws need to be removed by the proper process, not by decree.

Here is the way it works. When you make it harder to get oil, it raises the costs (regulations and stopping new drilling restrictions). When you raise the cost of oil, it raises the cost of transporting EVERYTHING. It increases the costs of fertilizer, without fertilizer, we don't have enough food. When it becomes more expensive to transport food, it raises the costs of all food. It would be comical if it wasn't so painful. Well said. But if no caps are put on them not many will be able to afford these commodities and demand will go down due do loss of sales. Cost of living for a month is getting close to a mortgage payment. This is way out of control. Most pay increases are 3% if you are lucky and inflation is more than double that. It saddens me deeply knowing what is going on in our country.
