I read the whole article, it is very one sided for sure - no mention of the Kanishka bombing or the violent Khalistan terror in the 80s, or targeting of Indian diplomats in Canada. The Khalistan “movement” is essentially some goons with delusions of grandeur, and others that claim repression in India in order to qualify for asylums and visas in the West. However, I agree with your conclusion that it the Khalistani movement in the US and Canada does not pose a direct threat to India yet. I can’t help wondering who leaked the name of CC-1 to WaPo. I would love to know what the cost-benefit analysis is done in India from using this offensive defense strategy.

There few observations from other side as well .... 1. Laden and pannu killing cannot be compared. Laden was military operation and terrorist. How would US behave and expect host country to behave if a terrorist organiser like Punnu keeps threatening US and keeps separatists activities going? Irrespective of the genuineness of the report, the timing of this report is interesting. Just after the second phase of the Loksabha election, it was released. That means it is a part of a tool kit to hurt Modi's chances to win. Because its handlers are expecting that this report will be widely discussed in Indian media & will create favorable conditions for opposition. But the term "Ghar me ghus ke marenge" is associated with it and in general, Indian voters love that term. I don't think it will hurt Modi's prospects in the election. However, its implication on the international level is yet to be seen.

This is the first time I am commenting on a video because you compared the 26/11 Mumbai terrorist attack where common people were killed randomly with the terrorist being killed by Gunman allegedly by the Indian state. I am a regular watcher of your you tube discussions, but I strongly disagree with you at 21:10 when you say Pakistani terrorist attack in Mumbai is also like “Ghar me ghus ke Marna” really, are both same in your eyes? What India says is in retaliation of continuing terror attacks in last 75 years. What Pakistan does is not retaliation but aggression through state backed terrorists. While I also donot agree to “ghar me ghus ke marenge slogan “ rather I would trust the govt and believe it would do all those things to keep the country safe and seek long term solution of Kashmir and Pakistan issue by diplomatic and other means. But I would never expect an Indian origin professor to equate mumbai attack by Pakistani terrorists and retaliatory RAW action in Pakistan.
