Washington residents continue to struggle to get unemployment checks

One week I was pending, then I sent them my DL and SS number and my check came. The very next week, they want ID again and now I have 2 weeks pending! We are not animals, but they want us to jump through hoops to get our checks. Shame on them!

Same situation single parent I put it in my comment I'm at a total loss even though I gave them the documents for identity that they requested immediately I know a lot of us are here stay strong and stay safe.

after weeks of trying to get through to someone I finally spoke to someone who claimed to be a third tier claims specialist and basically everything we were told was not true they never got fifty-five thousand people through on Friday meaning cleared to start receiving benefits again there is no timeand for the people that are blowing up the phone lines and that was myself up until yesterdaythey cannot give you any information if identity is listed as an issue so by the time you do get through your told nothing about your specific claim because they have yet to identify your identityalso she said that some of it could be done by an automated system this is also not trueall identity issues have been forwarded to the fraud department and have to be individually reviewed I'm so sorry I wish I had better news please spread the word God bless and stay strongthe third tier claims specialist recommendation was to contact the State and see if you can get any assistance that way while you wait it's just a bummer because we all work so hard for unemployment benefits and then when we need them we can't get then because the state drop the ball and got fraud out hundreds of millions of dollars which is not our fault

Anne Foster thanks Anne. This is my first time ever getting unemployment and all the sudden I get asked for my identity which I provided that same day and my status shows pending and yet now in adjucation and who knows how long that is gonna take!!! Along with that I was already getting unemployment and now don’t understand why they wanna verify my identity. All we can do Anne is what u say is pray and hope all comes to place especially times like this!

@@jeggz7205 that's exactly what happened to me I got it for two weeks and then got asked for my identity and now I'm 3 weeks pendingI'm a rip the Band-Aid off kind of person and I just think it would have went better if she said don't blow up the phone lines if its identity because we can't help you until you've been verified by our frauddepartment that would have freed up resources it would have allowed people who have to yet start a claim to get their claims in all while they could have been working on getting us paid again. Single struggling parent of a 13 year old in this mess that we are calling the world right now pray and stay strong I hear any more info I will come back here and post it. God bless.

Washington too I've been waiting over 4 months. While companies get billions in loans they don't have to payback while they lay people off, ceo's and executive give themselves big bonuses then file for bankruptcy. Socialism for the rich but when it comes to the middle class and the poor they dont care. They don't wanna pay people enough to pay their bills when politicians are the reasons we're outta a job but they just approved 600 billion, yes billion for new war jets.

its now 1-21-2021 i opened my new claim on 12-11-2020 says my claim is under adjudication.....pending....i have sent about 3 messages to them asking what is wrong....no reply back for 5 weeks now.....i have been in the same address for decades i sent in the copy of soc.card and driver license......my old claim was going just fine when but ended first week of december....i have been with the same emloyer for over 25 years and no others......just cant figure why my claim even went to the forever pending adjudication....anyone else having this problem???

I'm still waiting since aug 8th 2020 over 6 months in adjudication today I called and they said they don't know when a adjudacater will review my claim like wtf 😒 it's almost been 7 months no word

I need help with no extension being given as a single parent all my bills are past due. For some reason since they've asked for identity on the 17th which I gave to them immediately have gotten nopayments for groceries bills to keep secure internet on so my daughter can do her homework please if you get to talk to her again just askif there's anything we can do to speed along this process I've sent message after message with no response I truly am terrified and I need help God bless
