Washington Waterfalls - part 2

These are the rest of the waterfalls we saw during our visit to Washington state. The video begins with 2 waterfalls we visited in Olympic NF - Murhut Falls and an unnamed waterfall in the Falls View Campground. The rest of the waterfalls are in Mt Rainier NP. The first 2 are a couple of nice roadside waterfalls that I don't think had names. Then there's Narada Falls and Christine Falls. Above Christine Falls is a series of smaller falls along a canyon section of Van Trump Creek. After that is Carter Falls. One of the highlights of our trip was the hike past Bloucher Falls up to Comet Falls which ends the video.

Mesmerizing. When you go out west there are unnamed falls that would be considered as the basis for state parks, or at least popular hiking destinations within national forests. But in many western states they are lost in their thousands. For instance, I was hiking in the Mount Sneffels Wilderness and noticed an enormous waterfall visible offtrail. It was impressive, hundreds of feet of cascades. It had no name at all, as far as we could find.

That's so true. We could see more on the map of Mt Rainier, but a big section of the road through the park was closed, so we couldn't go.
