@@explodingbutters9595 Some of the stuff that he does is funny and adventurous, but willingly mixing honey into your hair where they could sting your whole face (if they swarmed) is careless Same with the flamethrower. He could have burned his house down. I’m a big fan of just joshing, but this recent video just makes me think it’s a little too careless but eh whatever dude he can do what he wants.

You know, at a certain stage of development, their larvae require protein...I saw a swarm of these devour a field mouse in about ten minutes. I was with my 4 year old son, who said, "look, the bees are eating the mouse." I told him no, not possible, then I walked over, and was so shocked, I said, as calmly as possible, let's go inside now. Walk, don't run. Those yellow jackets ate the mouse down to bones.

The wasp that stung his scalp probably got partially trapped under his hair. They'll sting if their movement of limbs is restricted. That second nest was not being attacked by mites; it was attacked by a moth (such as Chalcoela iphitalis), whose larvae eat the wasp larvae and then spin their cocoons in empty cells. Chilling the insects in a refrigerator after capture makes it easier to transfer them. Polistes recover easily after chilling.

OMG i totally have wasp friends too and totally encourage them to build their nests inside of my bedroom and even in the entire house and on the back porch too! I live here in southern Mexico where there's lots of mosquitoes! Mosquitoes are deathly afraid of wasps because they hunt them and even feed them alive to their offsprings! In fact a mosquito will not bite you if a live wasp crawling on you! So I love them around me all the time! People think that I'm weird because I'm not afraid of them and have even walked through an angry swarm without being stung when another person knocked their nest out of the tree! They did however chase the person who did knock their nest down and even chased him down the tree and around the entire yard! I was on the ground where they all fell and I just stood there with my hands out in the middle of their swarm apologizing to them for the stupid humans!
