Some advice for finding the man of your dreams. I'm a sixty-four-year-old man and have been married for 39 years and would say the man of your dreams is someone that has a youthful heart and loves the subtle things in life. He will not necessarily have the same interests that you do, and you will teach and share with him that passion for vintage and interiors. I look at my own situation in that I'm the designer and creative one in the relationship and my wife is not the complete total opposite but appreciates my quirkiness. I don't even know if she really likes what I create and I'm fine with that. You are a sensational person with good humor and charming and finding the man of your dreams is not easy. You want someone who does get excited finding little treasures. I would also say men can be boys and jackasses. I often hate how dumb I can be at times. You need someone who does not take themselves too seriously and will let you be you. As far as shoes goes as turnoffs that's funny and not a big deal. I know many brilliant, kind, gentle loving and humorous people who wear bad shoes. Me and my wife are like Beauty and the Beast and love each other like when we first met.

Fun! I sell items to dealers that resell at Brimfield. I know a few dealers there from my area in Bucks and Montgomery County Pennsylvania and Lambertville New Jersey. I have never been there but do know some of the items that I sold over the many years to other dealers were incredible pieces that ended up at Brimfield. One of the issues or problems for collectors is you can't keep everything and so you become a seller. It's so much fun to curate your own collection and it is often not about the value of a piece and more about if it speaks to you. You would really like the town of Lambertville New Jersey. It has lots of vintage stuff and great shops and flea markets. The dealers I know have outstanding eyes for items and some are trained architects and designers. The hunt is very funny and finding that special piece is so rewarding. They items tell stories.
