Waste Management Mack Granite McNeilus Tag-Axle Re

Here is a beautiful 2012 Mack Granite under a McNeilus Tag-Axle Rear Loader. I haven't seen any WM Granites other that ones on roll-offs, so enjoy this footage! Really amazing crew also! Enjoy!

Another great rear loader video. The McNeilus Tag Axle is always fun to watch, and mounted on a Granite like that is a nice change of pace for WM. Florida has a bunch of older Granite / Standard McNeilus RLs, they were bought for the Cape Coral contract, but when WM lost that to Waste Pro the trucks were redistributed to yards throughout the state. What makes me bring that up is those trucks has the same space behind the cab as this truck here, I wonder what exactly was WM's rational for ordering them that way. On this truck you can even see the hyd oil tank protrude from the front of the body a bit instead of being fully tucked away. Maybe it's for easier access behind the ejector? Especially since the cab doesn't fold forward. But yeah nice post, always look forward to your rear loader vids.

Thanks! Yeah these Granites are pretty cool. Not sure about that, I never really noticed why that is. I filmed a lot of RLs over the summer so I have more in store for you!

Beautiful truck! Really cool route with the Cascades too. What city is this? I remember you filmed another truck here but can't remember the name. I'm kinda surprised they don't use a Curotto here, seems like that would be way more faster/efficient. Great vid!

Thanks! This is Wyandotte. I filmed a Freightliner M2/ McNeilus out here before. I actually asked about that, it's about 50/50 between manual stops and automated. And this street and many others are one way, and since this is a union yard the guys would put up a little fight.

In comparison to other videos I've seen, wm trucks seem to look more modern and safer. Their staff seem more professional too.
