Correction brother as a Certified CA Grade 3 - Treatment plant operator 2 Lead Operations . THEY WILL NOT EAT EACH OTHER , they will eat themselves called Endogenous Respiration where no available food (BOD) Primary Effluent, they will start to break down their own enzymes , proteins, etc. and eventually die off .

Thank you for your response. This video is for an entry level calculations class, so we don't dive into this level of detail. I'm more referring to the many other organisms (protozoa, rotifers, tardigrades) that will eat the bacteria and other smaller organisms.
