Great: informative, accessible, calm, perfect for everyone interested in treatment of wastewater. I worked in Dartford in 2017 at nights at the garbage sorting line - 12 hours shifts, only half an hour break after six hours. It smelled like hell. All of us immigrants there we worked really hard, only English were rude supervisors and lazy pseudo operatives that did less than a quarter of what was expected from immigrants. The personnel consisted of older Eastern Europeans (usually really kind) who used to work in big railway workplaces and came to England to supplement their meager pensions. And younger ones of whom I want to focus on one who was forced into debt by Renoma, debt collection company for Koleje Mazowieckie, totally corrupted railway company in my home Mazowsze. Together with my wife we sued Koleje Mazowieckie and Renoma and complained about them to the European Transport Regulator. It is the highest time that European taxpayer money stops ending up in hands of communist cronies such as Koleje Mazowieckie. Brexit or not - each European taxpayer (including Norwegians and Swiss) have the right to real-time, verifiable, cross referenced information about where their money is spent.

When do you use a manual or an automatic mean to clean the screening process?
@pipbooooyyyy3 жыл бұрын
The number of automatic bar rack cleaners is usually recommended is atleast 1. More than that depends on your budget/economic position in the budget. For example, smaller rural plants may only have 1 due to the lower influent flow rate. Bigger plants, with higher flow rates usually use more automatic cleaning methods to save workers time, allowing them to attend to more pressing matters in the plant that may need more supervision, such as the disinfection process. The number of automatic cleaning methods also depends on the quality of wastewater influent, along side with flow rate as previously mentioned. Waste water influent which is poor in quality usually carry more debris/inorganic materials calling for more frequent cleaning.

@@pipbooooyyyy Ok, but what is a small and what is a big wastewater treatment plant? Are there any certain parameters to follow, to sellect the kind of screen process?
@pipbooooyyyy3 жыл бұрын
@@IMLuigi9 a big water plant would be one serving a large city such as Chicago, Toronto, Austin Texas, ETC. A small one is usually located in rural settings, the size of the plant is directly proportional to the size of population it serves. Bigger plants will more often use mechanical bar screen cleaners due to the high hydraulic load of wastewater being received, allowing operators to be free to observe other processes in the plant. Smaller plants will often only have 1 mechanical bar screen cleaners and may lean towards manual bar screen cleaning simply due to the low hydraulic load given by most rural communities with small population.
