I stumbled on this song about a month ago and fell in love with it and also I started to learn the concertina that has been lying around gathering dust. I aspire to be able to at least learn the tune! I also downloaded a bunch of John Roberts tunes the one about the the Jersey fellow who threw up over the tape was hysterical.

Ma'am, Mr. Strauss was one of the organizers of the Chicago Maritime Festival. His personal project was to edit and post the videos that captured the talented musicians at this event for the bulk of the 14 years that it ran.

@@NotaCapn Thanks for the info. I don't remember writing this but I may have been running low on brain cells. Most likely I meant to thank him for posting the song. "Boatman's Cure" was written by George Ward, and I knew that at the time. lol
