Good for everyone who braved the cold conditions. I sail at Lake James, due south of you. Comparable lakes. Was Watauga affected by Hurricane Helene?

@@gordonipock9385 I’m not from the sailing club but do believe some parts of the area were greatly affected

The lake has been affected. The normal Crystal Clearwaters are still full of silt, though it is slowly improving. The North Carolina side of the lake had several tributaries and dumped significant debris and even tractor trailers into the water.
