Great video , I got 1 Cincinnatus Chicken last year, the rest were Sulfur. I also enjoyed soon Puffballs from a tree like that.🌠✋️😎👍

Just found some at the state park near my house. Got home and confirmed I AM allowed to harvest for personal use, just not for resale, so I’m planning on going back to get some! Won’t take it all so there’s more for others and to spread the spores…. Good video! Thabks

YW!! Hey I just went to the park on my way home. Walking the trail back to the car w just a little Chicken of the Woods and I caught a glimpse of my first ever Hen of the Woods! Got 2 about 12” across tucked up into the base of 1 Oak tree! Nice little score. It had rained a few days ago so they’re both a little dirty on the underside but I can deal w that. :) Take care!!

The white back chicken mushrooms grow out of the soil. The yellow back chicken mushrooms grow out of wood.

You're totally right! At this point I didn't know this but just recently figured it out and made a video talking about it. So this one is the cincinnatus and not the sulphureus. I actual prefer finding the cincinnatus over the other now but I love both. Thanks for watching and being on top of your mushroom game!

I hope you find some, they're pretty good eating. I know that fellow KZbinr "learningtolivewithmyself" has found some on that side of the pond. It should be getting about that time again, really hope you find some. I missed your live stream but that's been over a year ago and I'm glad I started putting stuff up. Still not completely satisfied with my quality but it's better than it was. I've watched so many fellow KZbinrs improve and its amazing to witness.

Thanks alot Scott. You don't know how much your support means as I try to get this channel off the ground. I started not to put these videos out because I'm not impressed with them yet. After listen to you and some other You Tubers I said to myself just start or it'll never happen. I'd like to hear your opinion about my decision. Would have been better off waiting till I got my videos more dialed in?

@@paxtianodirtfrog8947 I was talking about this a bit on my live stream last night. If you watch my first videos compared to now they're absolutely horrible, camera work is rubbish, sound is bad and the videos are unorganized. That being said if I didn't do those first ones I wouldn't never have started and learnt as much as I have since then. I work on the idea of trying to make each new video 1 step better than the last. Keep it up

Yeah it did! One of my more recent videos show it and another mushroom coming back (harvesting mushrooms from the same place over and over). It wasn't as nice this time but still a cool find. I suspect it'll be back for years to come now.
