Me at the beginning, when I heard the first melody " This is it, Ben has finally lost it" Me listening to the end product " Ben you son of a gun, you did it again"

Crazy how he goes from cheesy goofing around, and slowly you start to hear something coherent and, frankly banging!

You need to watch a bit of Andrew Huang and his "4 producers flip the same sample" videos.

I like how you included the dry vocals. If I made this video, frankly, I would've been too embarrassed to put that in there, but how you incorporated it into the song was really great. That was probably the most inspiring part of the video for me.

There is a south indian percussion instrument called chenda which would be perfect for this track. It has a sharp tone rather than the round tone of the snare.

Thank you for basically making the Iglooghost tutorial we all wanted. Does anyone know what Reaper skin he uses if any? It might make Reaper actually usable for me lol.

Reaper is awesome, it's just BYO VSTs. There's some decent tools and fx but you can't rely on the reaper synth.

Hey Ben. This is really cool, but I always wonder with these how long it takes to do? I try stuff like this, but often get frustrated about 40 minutes in when it's not turning out. That obviously comes with practice, but with the edited format it's also hard to tell if folks on KZbin are having those same issues. Thanks!
@BenLevin5 жыл бұрын
zaglamir i take breaks throughout the day and never work much more than 40 minutes at a time. 40 minutes is a very good amount of time to work before a break!
