Which size do I have to use to open 40mm submariner caseback ? I tried 29.5mm but it's little too small.

I think it's a 30mm I've just measured it with a caliper I too need to find out aswell!

Are you referring to the vintage old case submariner model or the newer case model?

Yeah they have the proper size for the Sea dweller "36.5 mm" but the dies are made out of aluminum and it is a handheld case remover tool. On a Real Rolex.It can be trickier to remove the back with a handheld remover like the one they are advertising , They do also advertise the LG open all I would recommend that one and see if you can get it with the 36.5 mm die. It's the one that I use!
