zekrom is still viable with fusion flare over wild charge - the reason it's on pvpoke with wild charge is that some of the pvpoke rankings are bait dependent, which artificially inflates pokemon with nuke moves like wild charge or close combat

Just double checked this on the pvpoke matrix and you are right! They practically run the same in the 1v1 against the current meta. Will keep this in mind for the future, thanks!

14:25 actually you can use Fusion bolt for master league Lucky, it’s a 2 bar move for PVP and though it’s 10 less damage than wild charge, you don’t have the 2 stage defense debuff compared to using Wild charge

Yes that's what I mean. What you did is a more practical use for it but trying to grind for them to use hundreds of them on pokemon like zarude is pointless because they are so rare. It would take you years to power up a pokemon line that but using a few to get you to the next power up like you mentioned is the only thing you should be doing with them.

I soooo love Groudon in Team Go Rocket battles... he is just so broken. Fire Punch was such a QoL change for getting rid of leader shields (when finally unlocked the extra attack). Love love love it!

Crazy good comprehensive video! But I'm still most likely going to put rare candy xl (which is truly rare) into Carbink because my level 40 raid teams have been plenty good enough for years and investing in ML doesn't give me much if any ROI whereas Carbink can get a lot of use and it's rather annoying to go up against and gbl is the motherload of stardust and rare candy.

I have a rank 2 ULdefense deoxys that maxes out at CP 2499 at lvl 50 as well, i have enough deoxys xl candies to do so, just need to get around to it, with thr stardust

@LuckyBunz I've never spent rare xls, nothing worth it to me iv wise. I get ur limited on ivs from mythicals. I did get most of my rare xls from the johto event. I think that was the only event so far that had rare xls actually boosted.

XL Rare candy is a joke. Its only purpose is to add 1 or 2 to help with the next power up. A feature you should definitely ignore and organically obtain.

It was helpful for me when I hit best buddy with my hundo Garchomp and still needed 2 more Candy XL to max out, and it was the last of 3 Pokemon I needed to hit level 50 to level up. I didn’t want to “waste” KM walked by still walking it after hitting best buddy.

I'm paralyzed with indecision about Rayquaza. I have a 14/15/15 with breaking swipe and a 15/15/14 from Fest without breaking swipe. Do i mega the one with breaking swipe (max out at 4321) or use an elite TM on the second (max at 4326)? Because of GBL, i have a ton of elite TMs, i just don't know if that 5 CP matters for GBL (or anything).

I would go with the 15-15-14 Ray and use Elite TM for Breaking Swipe. Master League, you always want 15ATK because of the mirror matches. Hopefully, this helps your decision with which one to power up for Mega Evolve😊.

For ML, the attack stat does matter when you are in the mirror match, because this is how tiebreakers are decided. That being said, I rarely run into this issue playing casually, but if you are pushing for Legend every season, then this will matter every once in awhile. I personally gave the meteorite and breaking swipe to my shiny (14/15/14) and love using it in the Master League.

@@LuckyBunz Rayquaza is one of my son's favorite and he didn't get a shiny during go Fest. I spent a ridiculous amount of money doing raids on poke genie afterwards until I could get him a shiny. We went lucky about a month ago and his Rayquaza went 14/15/15. It was a no brainer to immediately give it breaking swipe and a meteorite! It's so cool in the mega form. I'm still trying to break into Veteran. 😬😬 It's frustrating since I really like PvP. But I just keep grinding and hope to make it soon.

@katecole6237 Someone I met during Wooper comm day, we became friends, and when Mega Garchomp was in the raids, we traded, and he got lucky 15-15-13 and I got the other way around for my shiny 13-15-15. I Mega Evolved my Shiny Garchomp, it looks so cool that pink on it 😍

Yeah I probably could have added Ho-Oh. It's pretty good in the Master League, but it's not as great in the fire type meta anymore. Actually, if you are using a purified one from the Johto Tour with Sacred Fire ++ then that does actually boost it up quite a bit and would benefit from dual functionality.
