We are talking about two different civilizations here, one which makes SOME effort to acknowledge the 'other' as human, and one which does not. This difference is manifest even when the IDF makes unconvincing apologies. These betray a degree of shame which Hamas does not feel, because they are totally hardened. They feel no need to apologize because for them, evil is good, so long as if it serves their interests. But we all do well to bear this in mind: (1st John 1:8) 'If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us.'

Killed so very many doctors/nurses/medical in their strikes on every hospital in Gaza (claiming every time Hamas were there, they were never there). Killed 200 aid workers and 200 journalists in 6mo. (Ukraine war averages 1 per year). Used "AI" strikes targeting homes at night, not military meetings, with 20 seconds of human review per strike and up to 100 or more civilians allowed killed per supposed AI Hamas killed. Targeted Iran's embassy, even tho they did not take credit for Oct 7, and Hamas captured on Oct 7 say Iran wasn't involved. The embassy strike on Iran may bring the world to WW3. Every criteria for genocide has been met, including starving the people. Netanyahu and Israel should be ashamed. Their state was created in sympathy for the genocide they endured at the hands of Hitler, and now they do likewise.

If people actually cared about saving innocent Palestinians, they'd want Hamas gone. While this was a terrible tragedy, it pales in comparison to the lack of regard Hamas has shown for innocent lives, even when it comes to their own people. Israel has ordered evacuations, given warnings, poured down leaflets, supplied tons of aid to safe zones, entered into multilateral negotiations with an enemy that vows to commit genocide over and over again etc. Somehow that's not enough. These designated areas are considered extremely dangerous and have led to many IDF casualties. Israel has a duty to protect their citizens and their soldiers who are fighting a just war. The difference between Israel and Hamas is that Israel puts its own soldiers at risk to minimize civilian casualties while Hamas hides behind their own civilians. There is no question which side is more moral. The results of this external investigation might give us more insight as to what happened, but it won't change the fact that Hamas and its terror proxies not only don't care about innocent life, but use it as a strategy for waging a propaganda war.
