Let’s be honest. I understand what these artists are saying. However, it upsets me because we do have our own platforms for these artists to get recognized. We have the bet awards, hip hop awards, soul train etc. thing that’s upsetting these big name artists rarely be there. A lot of time artists win and they have to have somebody accept the award on their behalf. And then our big name BLACK artists will go to the Grammys, and this other white washed awards and don’t get the love they would get amongst their own.
