Chris Taylor that's not every watch collector, sure some will flex their really expensive time pieces just to flex. But a lot of people flexing Rolex's probably don't then know anything about horology or the history, function, and movement in their watches. I don't have any really expensive watches, I mostly just wear my Tissot. But I love wearing my g-shock dw5600 which I bought for like $60. Honestly, don't even bother with any ones opinions. There's always someone with more money and a better watch. Timex is a good brand. Be proud of whatever watch makes you happy and works for you. They are tools after all and serve a purpose.

Great video. But, fighter pilots did NOT wear watches like the predecessor of the IWC Big Pilot watch. This is just wrong. Those watches were called Observer Watches and only handed out to the navigators of an aircrew. The watch was part of the navigation equipment and used in combination with special maps and an octant to maintain the course to the target. The watches were not part of the personal gear of the airman and had to be returned after the mission. Also those IWC watches were not issued to RAF pilots but to the Luftwaffe.

Iced out watches are so awful. Can’t stand when someone takes a 1500 Breitling and puts gaudy diamonds all over it. I also think putting diamonds all over a nautilus or royal oak is equally as gauche. I don’t mind a few diamonds if it’s done tastefully but the watches at the end or this video are so gross I’d never do that to my nautilus or aquanaut.
