I love watches. I own a platinum Rolex Day-Date with an ice blue face and Roman numerals, and a yellow gold Rolex Day-Date with MOP face and baguette diamonds on the points. I also have three Patek Philippes; a 5159G Grand Complication, a 5035J Annual Calendar, and a 5054J Power Reserve and Moon Phase. I also own a platinum Breguet Classique Regulateur 5187 which is my least favorite watch of the six that I have. If I sold the watches, I could buy a new Porsche Turbo S, but unlike cars that usually depreciate in value, Patek Philippe's go up in value, especially after the model has been discontinued. My biggest regret was not buying a F.P. JOURNE CHRONOMÈTRE À RÉSONANCE when it came out because I could have bought new for $44,000. That watch is now worth $250K+. Any of the early models of F.P. Journe watches have skyrocketed in value.
