People saying Nico doesn’t understand and is hating on black culture are missing the point. If these rappers said “I know this watch loses its value by me icing it out, but I don’t care because I like the way it looks” Nico would respect that. His issue is these millionaires actually believe their watches are worth triple the value when in reality they have damaged the watch. Also often their price estimates do not add up for the actual cost of the diamonds. Nico calls out anyone with these watches regardless of skin color or background. For people who are this rich and love showing off their wealth - they sure know nothing about their actual money. And that is the point.

THANK YOU for telling it like it is. Your honesty made my day. These clowns wearing that ugly crap is actually offensive. They must be surrounded by 'Yes Men' that constantly tell them this tacky crap looks good or something. Granted apart from a Watch I don't wear jewellery. You couldn't pay me to wear gold. A nice silver Watch is as "bling" as it gets for me. I'd even confidently bet that half that ugly crap are just fake paperweights. Oh fcuk me, I hate the sight of it, and the way they flaunt such rubbish. They deserve to get ripped off by bogus Jewellers.

If someone bought a ferrari and then covered it in crappy quality diamonds, would you pay more for it?
@rustknuckleirongut81072 жыл бұрын
You can smack a diamond onto a watch that is worth more than the watch and the watch is technically worth more now, but truth is the watch got damaged fitting the diamond and is now worth less. Its like stapling a hundred dollar bill to fifty dollar baseball card and saying the card is now worth $150 without taking into account that you just punched two holes in a fifty dollar baseball card and made it into a three dollar baseball card.
@Gamingraptorstudios2 жыл бұрын
The second you touch it with after market diamonds, no matter how high quality, the watch will "loose value". Meaning that it'll basically only be as valuable as the prescious metal and stones in the watch. On the other hand, watches that come set with diamonds from the factory retain the value of the watch as well as the stones (rainbow Daytona for example (

I like the “maybe I don’t understand this culture” at the end. Cuz if he doesn’t know the artist how can he understand the art? He is right about folk thinking more diamonds equal more money.

Art of devaluing watches and thinking they are more valuable now? 😆
@fr3aknastyghostwriti2 жыл бұрын
@@ademiravdic no. Ignorance is no excuse but I can excuse your ignorance. It’s the “art” of trying to prove YOU’RE worth something to yourself and others who came from nothing and used to nothing. The “art” of deception. It’s not about the “value” of something it’s the “worth”. It’s a backwards thought of those who weren’t taught or shown anything different. Folk who come from the hood and or ghetto or streets don’t get those lessons on things that are truly valuable. For instance Jay-Z used to buy platinum jewelry and even made it popular in his early career. Now he raps and teaches about things that are truly valuable like painting’s and investing. But it took him time to grow and learn these things from being around folk who were privileged enough to be taught these things from a young age. I hope I explained this clearly I’m not usually good with explanations. I often say I’m no good as a teacher. This isn’t a laughing matter it’s truly and disgustingly unfortunate. These artist gain money before knowledge and are usually set in their ways. Which unfortunately perpetuates a cycle of miseducation and plenty other negatives that need not be spoken on at this moment. I appreciate you asking
