Well also we see the 2 sides of the consumers, the ones who can comfortably afford to buy watches they thinks are fun and interesting, and sees them as fun purchases, ie something to dispose their disposable income on. Which is the intended buyer for such watches. Then there is the buyer/ customer who have to save up, and never wear the watch because they can't afford to have its value be lost, because they have to sell it to finance the next watch. This is the one who is faking it till they make it. Where the snobs start to develop. Because they can't buy the crazy fun pieces, they grow to hate them.

I was surprised to stumble across this video. I do not know producer Michael personally... however after watching many of his videos, I cannot recall him ever professing to be a "watch expert" by any stretch of the imagination. He enjoys collecting watches....plain and simple. He is always interested and fascinated when he sees a new watch or learns something new about a watch. My "Grail" watch is a 36 mm silver Rolex Datejust....that fits MY style. Michael marches to the beat of a different drum....he likes the unusual and the bling....that is HIS style. Please don't attack a person for thier lack of knowledge or of you disagree with thier taste. Michael treats people with respect, dignity and kindness... unlike what I've seen here in this video.

Yes cos the strap I bet in not all Alligator. The in side on it will be cow hid I think and stitched with an inner liner. I own myself on the Santos an Alligator strap. However on my Cartier de Must tank ( Old model ) I have a Crocodile leather strap all one piece while the watch is water proof ..I bet the strap is. :D

They're very well built and made, but when people bash them for their looks and say they'd never pay a dollar for something so ugly, you know they're snobs and bitter they'd never be able to afford one. They're expensive, because they're made for people with FU money. Saying you have a house on your wrist is a pretty big deal. And no amount of nickel and diming will allow the snobs to somehow get one like they do do with the vintage rolex or omega they were able to buy for a few grand online a decade ago. I know if they ever spent any amount of time with one or felt it on the wrist, they'd know its an amazing piece of art. A watch dealer, similar to this guy, who doesn't care about name brand crap, says they're definitely amazing watches and loves them, especially when he wears them, they're just a breath of fresh air when it comes to watches and what they offer compared to the other brands that keep the same designs and aesthetic of a watch line from the 60s-70s-80s. Buy what you can can afford, and what you like. If you can't comfortably afford to lose all the value of that watch, or pop it into a junk drawer should it bust, you probably weren't really able to afford the watch.

I don’t think so it seems fair to me, Takes PP and puts diamonds on it making look like shit who knows if the diamonds are all high quality or not. On top of that as watch enthusiast he should know how dial hands work. Sorry but iced out watches made outside of factory are trash. He could have gotten an Daytona with full diamond set from Rolex factory set diamonds and GMT with diamonds or an day-date with diamonds dial and Bessel pretty sure pp had an diamonds watches that look better.. That is like buying a Ferrari 250 GTO and putting custom parts in it. You’d get obliterated by the car community. Or worse….
