With the added micro adjustment this should sell well! To bad I don't have a Grand Seiko store in Adelaide I will have to fly interstate to check one out.

I had the SBGN003. Great watch but hated the handset. Too dainty with the dauphine hands, so I'm pretty psyched about the SBGN027. Only wish they included a colored GMT hand. The white is too plain. Don't mind the white date wheel but would've been nice if they retained the frame for the date window.

Actually prefer not having the colored GMT hand. That makes it too corny. This is more in unison. But if you are into the bling factor by all means, stick with what you like.

Another reason for the price increase is the additional 100m water resistance

The water resistance on their site is still quoted at 100m though. I think when they first showed up they were showing 200m, but it seems like it was a mistake.

Has anyone been able to confirm if they are going to be using the clasp with the micro-adjust on these models? I have only ever seen videos on the automatic versions of these that are already out, and none at all on the quartz. I would assume they would have the same clasp since the are using a smaller version of the same case, but I am worried they might not.

No micro adjustment on the quarz models.

@@charredhusk I had the same concerns before buying my GS watches, but fortunately the "half links" are not half length links so the bracelet can be adjusted pretty precisely. It's a better fit for me than my Rolex watches.

@@otto9468 yeah I got the SBGN003, and the sizing was very nice. Took a couple of tries to get it perfect at the jeweler but it has been great since!
