I love your food. There is no contention here, you can make it with coco yam, plantain, corn, yam. Some people call it mpotompoto or porridge in English. My brother please go easy on the oil just for your health. I passed out when l saw the amount of oil used in the food. I know the oil is used to suppress any allergic reaction from the coco yam My recommendation when you pour the oil, you filter it out while oil is still melted and hot on the top of your pot. The rest like plantain, corn and yam don't need too much oil from the beginning. Thanks
