At some point Chris might've realized the one person who could put the timeline together and is trying to figure out exactly what happened was in his vicinity and dangerously close to uncovering the truth. I was just wondering what would have happen if, and only IF, he was a terrific lier and a very good actor: I saw a dokumentary of the Green River Killer, and he DID pass the lie detector test. Yeah, thats right! It was dna that let him down 13 years later. Just imagine if CW had passed the test AND he did act perfectly as a broken husband who´s family were missing...?! The police did not have anything on him at this point and he was not a suspect. That would give him plenty of time to get rid of evidence (if any) that tied him to this crime. He gave himself away!

Still, they found nothing when they searched the house the same day! The K9 found nothing either. Everybody was clueless. The security camera just showed CW loading his truck and driving for work. And this was when he did not even have time to "fix the place". If he was smart, he could have comitted the perfect murders. But he is an idiot (thankfully) and he gave himself away: Misserable interview with televison, smirking and joking (He did not need to talk to the press) He failed the lie detector test horribly (He did not need to take that test) But NA crossed all his plans (whatever they were) when she called the cops!

I disagree. I think its BECAUSE he knew them that he suspected Chris so quickly. He says multiple times "he is acting weird. He never talks! He is very introverted so for him to be over here telling you what he put in his truck over and over makes me kinda suspicious." I think anyone in this situation could tell that Chris was acting weird. I'm no body language expert or anything, but the man is acting strange. No real concern for his family. He doesnt mention his wife is even pregnant until a commercial pops up of a fetus. The way he keeps looking at the door as if he wants to run out of it. The bed sheets, the fact that he didnt let them inside immediately. All those little things make it pretty obvious in my opinion.

Can we applaud and praise the police officer? He knocked on every window, asked more than a lot of questions, did whatever he could to bring Chris home. And also the neighbor Nate...he knows Chris's habits exactly - "he never backs his car into the garage". Amazing attention to details.

He wasnt concerned with her well being when told shes not answering the door knowing she wasnt feeling good the night before.

My home security camera has the option to erase stored memory in every 12 hours, 4 days or 30 days. He could have done so many things to cover up better if he had more than just 1 day. She was texting her the night before that Chris was going to leave her and she cried herself to sleep. Her friend was flying back in and when she didn't hear from her she knew something was up. Can't ignore those instincts you know? At the beginning of the video she's like "her car is here... Her car is in garage"... She's a good friend, I'm sad it was too late.

I found it extremely interesting how he didn't care, his entire demeanor was off. If your wife and more importantly your kids are missing, you wouldn't walk around and casually talk to people. The only moment he got nervous was when the neighbor said there was a security system recording everything, you can tell he only cared about getting caught. This guy is a complete monster, I literally had to cover my ears when he said he took the kids and dumped them alive into the oil tank.

@John Jay seriously. But if you think about it, it only took him 2 HOURS to brutally choke/kill both of his kids and his pregnant wife, wrap them up sufficiently, load them up and take off... Had everything cleaned up enough where there was no sign of struggle or foul play... When you think about the cold heartedness and calculating and sheer evil that took to do that within 2 HOURS... But if you think about it, it only took him 2 HOURS to brutally choke/kill both of his kids and his pregnant wife, wrap them up sufficiently, load them up and take off... Had everything cleaned up enough where there was no sign of struggle or foul play... When you think about the cold heartedness and calculating and sheer evil that took to do that within 2 HOURS... It's crazy to think that if Chris really still cared enough about Shanann, it's likely he would have known and remembered her doctor's appointment and wait a day. Then he could have committed the murders and give himself enough time to dress up a story and alibi. Nicole was instrumental in setting forth Chris' reckoning.
