Emgality is a subcutaneous injection (shot) 💉prescribed to me by my provider each month for migraines. Either I give it to myself in the tummy tissue, or my husband gives me the shot in the back of the arm. Be sure to alternate arms if you are able. You can watch how we give the Emgality shot, step by step, start to finish. I also explain about my insurance covers most of it each month and how it stings/burns for me during the injection, but it's not that way for everyone. You can do this! I hope this step by step explanation of how to give Emgality shot, or other sub-q shots like this type, is helpful. Also remember for safety; After using an auto-injector, you should dispose of it in an FDA-approved sharps disposal container immediately.
