Great video. Thanks PD. Anyone not using the steam version just add the shortcut of the game to your desktop , right click and then select properties. Then under target add +r_allowBlackListedLayers 1 to what is there already Remember to add a space before the +r bit. This then allows reshade to run in a Vulcan game. Hope this helps

Very cool. You should try setting up an ultra wide virtual monitor in Virtual Desktop for that full THX widescreen presentation. I'm running it at 3440x1440. You also have to set the game to do widescreen display in the game settings. I couldn't set my actual main monitor like that, so I had to use a 2 monitor setup with 1 virtual monitor. Then I can set the virtual monitor up to whatever resolutions Virtual Desktop can do.

I played a few minutes but I'll have to come back to it when they give an option to remove the white dot cross hair. I'm only playing normally in virtual desktop, so just on a large screen 👍

I’m on the fence as I had the PSVR2 at launch and sold it as it was blurry and not slot of games. Is the Quest3 work getting?

It should not have been blurry did you set the IPD correct? Quest 3 works great as well. No modern VR headset should be blurry. Do you wear glasses in real life, have you tried VR with your glasses on?

Thanks for explaining all the settings on reshade.. I have the 3DFx but never understood how to map it to get best results. By the way have you tried Starwars Outlaws in UEVR or Reshade? I wonder which looks best. Also Jedi Survivor UEVR is a bit of a crutch in poorly optimized games but whats your experience?

There are FREE orgrams that let you view/play in Stereoscopic, I just find Virtual Desktop easier to use becuase I know how to use it.

Looks like it's not possible to use with game pass. I've installed Reshade and got it to work in the intro screens, but once the main menu appears it starts artifacting and flickering like crazy..

PD, one question, people say that upscalers like DLSS don't benefit VR because there's a problem with how it works. Is this true for UEVR, and is that true for Reshade? I figure it has something to do with the nature of VR having to produce two off-set images which the eyes/brain resolve into one, and perhaps any artifacting is too uncontrolled when seen separately on two images. I've never built a PC myself, but want to for UEVR and things like Reshade, and if this is true I am thinking maybe I should opt for an AMD GPU to favour frame rate at the same cost, as upscaling wouldn't theoretically be necessary? Have I got my thought process completely in a twist? Thank you for everything you do mate! 🙌

@@legamerquebecois1730 there is a way to add launch parameters on Xbox games, but it involves unlocking the windows apps folder which can be a to-do and it’s much more involved. I’m going to hold off myself and maybe buy it on Steam in the future because a lot of people in the comments of the video I watched that explained how to do it said that they messed something up in their PC when trying it. It’s a shame Microsoft makes things difficult.

Looks amazing in my new video with Path tracing. I couldn't get 4k it ran it fine but crashed so I put it on 1440p still looks amazing compared to my pre path tracing update video. Lovely graphics. Hope they do a VR mod. Not interested in 3D though. Enjoy it though.
