It amaze me how the most people in the comments are so uneducated. They are afraid that it will overheat, in the presentation they are showing that it is running on 30W, better than qualcom and amd. And also that it is x86 and not ARM, but what if x86 was better than arm or equal on power efficiency ? You have same battery life and also all application support on x86.

This comment accused people of being uneducated and then talked about what if x86 is better than ARM...Sorry to burst your bubble, but the only way to do that is to reduce the instruction set....and become like ARM..... And the other commenters are rightfully calling out Intel because of the fact that the Core Ultra 2 are still far away from AMD Zen architecture. Intel still needs 4 years to catch up as mentioned in their earnings call. Which is why Intel stock plummeted. Intel needs to put in a lot of work and years of Intel bs marketing has only deepened our mistrust for advertised benchmarks..

If they deliver and Qualcomm wants to stay in the PC business, it means their Gen 2 Snapdragon X series CPUs will have to be incredible. We have to take note that Apple's M4 is coming soon... Woah.. This is exciting.. I am sure by next year, we'd know exactly who's boss at the time and what they all can offer. Exciting times.. Competition is awesome for consumers.

I used a Surface Pro 9 with 12th Gen Core i5. The lesson I learnt - never believe Intel can make something energy efficient. Even with Lunar Lake. I can't believe my Surface can't run more than 4 hours while unplugged. Then I switch back to my iPad Pro M1, 90% of battery health, but can last for 5 hrs +.

I'm very disappointed with only 20 PCIe Gen 5 lanes. I was hoping for at least 24 so I could run my GPU and 2 NVME drives at Gen 5 speeds. I'm not an AMD guy, but I have to seriously consider the AMD Ryzen 9000 series. I'm also not looking for a GPU on my CPU, so that is not a selling point for me.

They say actual Intel laptop can last 14 hours hahahahaha and new ones 20 hours, actual Intel laptops can barely make it to 6-7 hours with the lowest power settings, AMD can already double that, and arm triple that, all that presentation was BS until reviews say the opposite

30 watts while netting the same performance as Ultra 1 frees up more power for the dedicated GPU (RTX 5000). This is huge for thin and light gaming laptops that have a constrained TGP to share between CPU & GPU (2025 Zephyrus G16).

lets be hinest, this is for laptops, tablets and ultrabooks, no one will run to buy a soldered ram wprkstation with one of these the market is extremely limited, i wouldnt waste a minute in it, having qualcom and apple alreade reachung and outperforming whatever this x86 can do it is a uphill race, and arm already finished that race

Just because everything is running locally, doesn't mean all of your personal information remains local. Nothing is free and A.I. is costing them millions. A.I. is how they fish for our personal information. A.I. is the bait. Be careful not to get caught.

Also why is 30fps the STANDARD baseline here 2:31? Talk about a downgrade. 30 fps causes epilepsy. Standard aspect should be 32:9. 8k 8192x2160. 500 fps. If your processor can't do this fluidly by DEFAULT, I'm out. New standards should be pushing 16k 16335x 8192 32:9 500fps. If your processor can't push the standards to new bounds, I'm out.

That python code at 9:55 is terrible in choose_option(). You don't want capitalize(), there is no such variable as userencrypted_choice and if you don't enter a valid choice it returns when it should ask again. I would be quicker to write it yourself than waste your time debugging that rubbish.

(as in the original Crysis PC game, not the remastered)"_ My comment has no hate in it and I do no harm. I am not appalled or afraid, boasting or envying or complaining... Just saying.
