WATCH | IPOB allegedly bans Nigerian flag in South-East

Early in August, the Indigenous People of Biafra declared every Monday a sit-at-home to push for the release of its founder, Nnamdi Kanu, who is in the custody of the federal government.
The proscribed group has now allegedly banned the Nigerian flag in the South-East. It has also declared a sit-at-home protest slated for October 1, Nigeria’s Independence Day.
It says the decision is to demonstrate against its rejection by the Federal Government.

Forget the business loses. South Easterners knows how to recover. After the civil war, there was no house standing in Onitsha due to heavy bombardment from Asaba. Today, Onitsha is developed more than other cities untouched by the civil war. The recent sit at home has no economic fear at all for the South East. If the govt is not moved by the sit at home, then they are governors on their own. They leaders of the South East should act in a people oriented way or they will regret their action and/or inactions!!!
