Where are South Sudanese who go to study engineering abroad? We need to see South Sudanese build our country. Learn those skills from Chinese. We won’t need Chinese to build our roads in 10 years to come. We want to see our youth build their country. Love you south Sudan!

My brothers, that is impossible south sudan to do that. Not because south sudan can't manage to construct but with corruption they have then it will be impossible to do. They will be just fighting themselves

Albino Aleu Aduol I would like the Minister of road and Bridges to clearly on why the construction is set up for 36 months while, the main road from Juba to Wau is long. According to his speech, the most of his focusing from that construction is starting at zero Juba to Rumbek and I am wondering why not letting the construction be going all the way to Wau. Second to that, the president Salva Kiir Mayardit and his government officials always should discussing the long term and the short term in anything they wanted to do for the nation and the people who will be beneficial to it. To give them the long term and the short term example, making two lanes on the main road from Juba to Wau or any others main roads within South Sudan nation, the president Salva Kiir Mayardit and his government officials must thinks about the next generations to come. I would recommending all main roads within South Sudan nation must be built with 4 lanes meaning, two lanes on one side and two lanes on the other side well this is the long term building roads so that, when the population in South Sudan growing to 90 million people perhaps, the roads wouldn't be too busy for citizens from State to State . I had seen Nimule road to Juba is not designed in to the long term and if I was in charge eventually, I would have not allowed people to do it that way and this is why I am telling the president Salva Kiir Mayardit and his government officials to thinks about long term when they are planning anything for the country and the people . I am aware that, the shortage of money and the corruption network in South Sudan which bothering Mr. President Salva Kiir Mayardit to use oil production instead of having cashed available in South Sudan banks with that said, still the president has to try his best and to make sure the four lanes must be done and also the construction should not stopped at Rumbek because it might be a bigger problem for citizens demanding. I would be very happy if anyone take my concern about roads building and the long term to be implementing. Thanks

Tangible Human Needs: Properly paved roads and 24/7 electricity supply is much needed for South Sudan. Our country has been in the dark since the beginning. I'm glad brother Prof. Ajuoi Magot Chol Achieu Nhial Alith Diing is helping. The minds and hearts of our Biong community is the mind for South Sudan and the World. Brother Ajuoi works with his heart and mind. -Sorry about deviating off topic but human ingenuity must be appreciated in all its form. Development is a human need and in order to develope, there MUST be PEACE. All those engineers and experts working there must be protected at all times. Why? Because I do not trust South Sudan yet. -Keep up the great work and never forget to pave the Juba-Bor Road....because that is the road to knowledge, peace, love and unity. As Mzee Daniel Arap Moi once said, Ujinga ya jana si ujinga ya kesho. He did not say that. I made it up. Kwa nini? Kwa sababu South Sudan is on the right track right now so KEEP IT UP!!!

That is good beginning. However; never try to politicizes development, otherwise it back fires the continuity. The same companies should be given the entire road network for easy accountability. It will be forever if expectation of Egyptian or whoever is given other roads. For example, see the companies who constructed Nimule- Juba road. We should rather learn from the past or else the they repeat the dame mistakes.

I know, I know...I know where public sentiment is coming from. We always hate change and development and that is a legitimate opinion but we must not think of ourselves but think about our population that will benefit from this network. When Internet and Facebook first came out, there was son resistance and look at the beauty the technology can provide. -I know, I know but you must give it time as long as peace lasts, Our people MUST BE CONNECTED and PEACE MUST PREVAIL in order to develope. Stupidity and violence has no place in a society that is trying to civilize. If truely care, please I urge everyone to support anything that support South Sudan's development. Why? Because when South Sudan succeed, his big brothers shall smile and she fails, then we all know the pain of losing a little sister or a brother. Those who have felt the pain know the pain and it truely hurts. I love Canada and South Sudan kwa sababu I'm a South Sudanese-Canadian and our Canadian culture teaches love, respect and unity as a people and that should be applied to South Sudan.

This is a deal only drunkards accept 10,000L per day of crude oil what a joke😆
This road should have been constructed ten years ago so maybe you should start apologizing to the people of South Sudan for delaying to deliver services to them. You are not using oil proceeds, you are using oil which clearly shows that South Sudanese do not actually trust themselves in channelling liquid assets to various developmental projects in South Sudan plus the cost of the road is inflated.
