Not much! They threw us out of Kenya, South Africa, Rhosdesia, etc. Took the technology we showed them, the wheel, etc and a lot more, and tried to run with it. Sadly not with much success. Before Britain went to Africa that figure was zero. Why is it Britain's job to educate Africa, to civilise Africa, to industrialise Africa? We did all those things for ourselves in Britain. Nobody did it for us. Africa can do nothing for itself, nothing. If Europeans had never set foot in Sub-Saharan Africa in the 19th century they still would not have invented the wheel, nor invented handwriting. Same with the Native American Indians. I'm not in any way disparaging them, they have some wonderful qualities as people and they certainly live sustainable lifestyles we all might be better off living. I'm just giving you the facts. We owe Africa nothing, they owe us everything. They and you are welcome.
