I'm an Australian. In the Pacific, our dear King & Queen are much loved. IMO, the real royal tour is a hit. We all know how much our dear KCIII has put into coming to visit us. It is a huge flight from the UK to Australia & the Pacific Islands for any seventy year old, let alone one in treatment for cancer. The effort made by our King & Queen has not been missed and that is why we have stood in the hot sun for hours to catch a glimpse of them & honour their effort to come to us. Thank you.

As an American, I can certainly see the reason for the British Commonwealth. In this world, small nations have not had the best track record versus big nations, wanting to gobble them up. I am for dialogue anytime over armed conflict. And yes, I know that is certainly not the case with my own country all the time!

As a Samoan who lives in Australia..what the King is wearing is perfect for Samoa. No man in Samoa wears pants..unless he's on a rugby field. The heat and humidity in Samoa would make wearing a suit impossible. Our prime minister in Samoa advised all attendees that this CHOGM is a island event..the King dressed accordingly. Anyone in pants is a foreigner 😂
