Fun fact - the congressman met the future mother of his son while she was a high school president of the the FFA and he was on the board of the same organization and in his forties - shortly after they met she won a scholarship named in Rose’s parents honor - 4 years later they were married - a heartwarming tale of a middle age man grooming a teenager -
