Yes! Thank goodness the neighbor cared enough to investigate the unusual noise he heard and to keep watch after he saw the car speed away from Dan's house and then when he didn't see Dan leaving, went back to see if there was anything wrong. I hope that even though Dan couldn't respond to his neighbor, he was comforted by his voice that help was on the way. Also, the young man who was on the phone w/Dan when Dan told him there was a strange person in the driveway wasn't about to brush it off either when Dad didn't respond to him on the other end of the line and thought Dan was having a heart attack and called 911. Thank you to good people who care. RIP Dan Markel.❤🌹

To be fair, memory is complicated. You remember some things with specificity and forget others. It's hardly surprising that everything she did on the day of the murder is etched in her memory. She probably had it all down in her calendar and therefore memorized it, whether innocent or guilty. Having said that, I do think she knew about the murder in advance. She absolutely told Charlie Dan's schedule for that morning, then couldn't help herself and drove by Trescott Drive to see if there was activity.

Considering his client is very obviously guilty and the evidence is damning, defense actually did a brilliant opening with what he had to work with. Admitting to certain things, like the stapled money being from his client, takes the gotcha moments away from prosecution and is a great attempt to lesson the power of that evidence. But saying "puzzle pieces" repeatedly is driving me nuts!

This woman is a specialist in lying. Anyone who offers this in response to a simple question asking, “is the defendant older or younger than you?” And replies, “I’m the youngest of 3 so I have two older brothers, they are both older than me.” Too many words, saying the same thing trying to reinforce that she is “young” so the jury assumes “easily influenced.” Plenty more here, but I’ve been watching her testify for 3-4 years now. She’s good but she is a liar and a murderess. I’ll have to go back to the first murder trial to check but I wonder if she called her murdered ex-husband “Danny” back then?
