A possible tornado was moving across southeastern Oklahoma County near Midwest City and Tinker Air Force Base as of 8 p.m. Saturday.
News 9 Storm Tracker Brandon Pennel showed viewers a power flash live on-air, indicating to Chief Meteorologist David Payne that a tornado had touched down. The storm is moving east-northeast.

Severe thunderstorms moved Saturday night across central Oklahoma producing multiple tornado warnings in the state, including a tornado warning for the Oklahoma City metro area and for Stillwater in Payne County. There were no confirmations of tornadoes as of 7:30 p.m.
Thunderstorms with the potential for hail, damaging wind, very heavy rain and an isolated tornado are developing in west-central Oklahoma. News 9 Storm Trackers Val and Amy Castor are tracking them, and News 9 Chief Meteorologist David Payne is covering the storms from the Bob Mills Weather Center.
