Instead of hoping for the investigation to lead to a safer exploration, she is so concerned, that the government will shut down all that unprofessional attitude and will kill the spirit of exploration. What a mess and disrespect towards the victims (not Rush) and their families. She even had a nerve to draw a parallel to Neil Armstrong. Shame on her.

The testimony by Renata Rojas directly confllicted with the testimony by David Lochridge. The truth should come out once Rojas submits her personal video to USGS (via her attorney), as promised during her testimony. It should show clear up or confirm statements by her and by David Lochridge about what did happen on the Andrea Doria dive. If she does have that personal video, why didn't she and her attorney already provide it for the investigation?

If you go back over Lochridge's testimony, he seemed quite angry and fed up with OceanGate, and whilst I can see those reasons were valid, I have to wonder if he exaggerated his story a little for dramatic effect, to get one back at OceanGate who sued him. On the other hand, Renata is defending Stockton too much so she could either be lying or delusional. Only time will tell as to who's account is more accurate.

Yup. Unbelievable! She doesn’t even know (or pretends to not know) what torque regulations in regards to nuts and bolts are. Any car mechanic knows more about that than someone who sent unsuspecting customers to the bottom of the ocean! She has zero integrity, no spine, no sense of responsibility. She is clearly extremely scared of being held accountable for having gotten multiple people killed (AS SHE SHOULD BE!!!). So she answers most questions like a bumbling, rumbling little toddler. But once she gets to blurt out the cheesy and pathetic propaganda slogans Stockton Rush used to sell his irresponsible dives, she gets all excited („Apollo!“ „Neal Armstrong!“ „Scientific Research!“). If “science” is the thing, then you have to have peer review. That is what inspections are. That’s why you have input from the people around you. And that’s why you have regulations and licensing and laws. Stockton did none of this. Not science. That’s hubris. That’s commerce.

Ehm... Ok, I get what she's saying about exploration is important blah blah blah. And that she, at least personally, knew the risks and still decided to go on the dives... But I'm thinking about the teenager, who I remember reading somewhere wasn't too keen on going... These aren't just scientific dives or test dives to test the new materials used in the craft. There's a tourist element here, and I think it unwise to use experimental craft for tourist dives.

It's to see if new regulations need to be made, it's also (most likely) will be used for OceanGate insurances lawsuit for the people that died, and probably to determine what to do about the plot of sea that isn't claimed by anyone and what to do if someone attempts to do this again because apparently the co-owner wants to do another trip down there. This was a manned vessel designed outside of established parameters for survivability at those depths. Stockton was a clown with money…..and perhaps a murderer.
