Atlanta rapper Young Thug, born Jeffery Williams, faces multiple charges under Georgia's RICO Act. Williams, believed to be the leader of the YSL collective, supposedly operated a "criminal street gang" from outside his residence. Williams faces eight charges in a 65-count indictment. These charges include drug possession, possession with intent to distribute, and participating in criminal gang activity as an individual employed by a criminal street gang. Opening statements will take place on November 27.

They are all fair objections to be made. Blame the defense attorney for breaking the rules of the court and not the judge and prosecution for calling them out on it. The objections the defense have made have been baseless and purely done because they don't want the damning testimony to be heard by the jury. This is the game that is played, and the defense is not playing well.

My problem with this entire trial is, if these guys committed all these old crimes "in furtherance" of a gang, and the prosecution says they are ALL guilty of the same thing RHICO, why does the leader (stevens) and the others get a slap on the wrist.
