Atlanta rapper Young Thug, born Jeffery Williams, faces multiple charges under Georgia's RICO Act. Williams, believed to be the leader of the YSL collective, supposedly operated a "criminal street gang" from outside his residence. Williams faces eight charges in a 65-count indictment. These charges include drug possession, possession with intent to distribute, and participating in criminal gang activity as an individual employed by a criminal street gang. So far the Judge Sustains 2 Defense motions ( disallowed Prosecutors statements ). Prosecutor gave wrong date of so-called date of offense and she corrected herself. She uses Defense Attorney Steele’s name as defending a defendant he doesn’t represent. Prosecutors have not turned over information they plan to use in their opening statements and during trial. The Prosecution has a lot of Remedies. A lot of withholding more than a dozen slides. What’s wrong with her?

“Hear” includes seeing evidence in this context… if someone’s “heard” at a trial it means you listen to their case, which includes seeing any actual physical evidence. Think of it as saying “you’ll hear about the evidence we’ll show you”. Also, audio recordings and witness testimony is definitely evidence that means something if you want to take it as literal.

They began with 15. That's one of the things that they have been during during this whole year of delays. The trial should have begun in January, but here we are in November. Two of them didn't find lawyers, the rest signed deals with the prosecution.

All of this mess precipitated from the single fact that the State of GA failed to turn over their demonstrative material to be used in opening arguments in a timely matter as ordered. The judge specifically stated numerous times both last week and the week before during pre-trial motions for defense counsel and the prosecution to exchange all relevant material. The defense did, but the prosecution did not. This is unacceptable to be going over this and addressing objections the first day of trial making the jury wait unnecessarily. If I were a juror, then I'd be livid having to sit in the deliberation room. Unprofessional and unorganized would be stating this first day very kindly...
