This is actually a fantastic observation, but it’s a little bit of a misnomer. Cameras have almost always had a presence in courtrooms as long as they’ve been around. Currently, the part that’s prohibited is taking photos or videos of the jury as the case is ongoing. I’m pretty sure this goes back to Capone, because they were very publicly menace juries when they were in trouble. Kind of hard to have an unbiased jury when killers are waiting outside of your house when you get back..

The very intrinsic nature of Insurance is "Not-for-Profit"; not to be confused with "Charity". Credit Unions are another example of a Not-for-Profit. When the 'profit motive' is introduced into Insurance, it's a conflict of interests that causes the lethal corruption we see in the insurance businesses today. There would also be fewer people needing healthcare because Insurance Companies would raise the premiums on business (e.g. Industrial food companies, car manufactures, etc) whose products and practices cause claims to rise. Gee, that sounds like a real and effective "free market" self-regulating mechanism! Nothing like taking a 'free market', neo-con, pure economics, idea that they use as a talking point against 'regulation by Government' and showing an example that works and how they have perverted it. So, in conclusion - when we can use something that is from their playbook, that makes sense and is a good idea, we should use that first before we go to a two dimensional stereotype that they already have discrediting talking points and slogans against (e.g. free universal healthcare for everyone). Once we get back to normal 'Not-for-Profit' insurance we can then reassess, depending on how many people are still in need of healthcare. p.s. Apparently, before 1971, "For-Profit" insurance was illegal.
