Thanks Kevin! 1. I cannot confirm myself as I don't have HOA fees. As far as I'm aware at this point in time, the card is only designed for apartment rent payments. 2. I learned grammar in school when I was young, but that didn't help me with speaking. So now I'm just watching shows in Spanish w/ subtitles in Spanish on Lingopie and Netflix. Lingopie is awesome as they also have kid shows and you can filter by comprehension level.

How does average age of credit affect your overall score? Are you concerned with that at all? Also, I'm very impressed with the Spanish! Unexpected! You're reminding me of my goal to learn it; thanks for that!

Length of credit history = 15% of your score, so a moderate impact. I'm personally not concerned with it any longer. The biggest issues tend to be for those with less than 1-2 years. Once you've reached that, denials due to 'insufficient credit history' tend to rarely occur. Glad the Spanish inspired you to learn it yourself, make it happen! 🇨🇴

It's my understanding that you can pay via the CC # on the back of your card as long as your landlord accepts credit card payments. However, you will likely be charged the transaction / processing fees if you do it that way just like using any other credit card. This was an Experian pull for me. However, it may vary based on location.

i just cancel this card, I have a fraud attack on my card 3 times in just 2 months of having this card. I got blocked and spent weeks trying to call WF and Bilt with no help, I end up use my checking so there is no point of having this card. Cool card tho. ​@@MarkReese No, at first Bilt told me they don't know what happened to my card, they recommend me calling WF customer service, then they redirect me to Fraud department at WF and they said they don't know also and recommend me to Bilt. Noone knows why my account was closed. This went on for a whole week. I tried everything and until on Twitter, some higher up tweet back saying they will figure this out and apparently, i prefer so many people they though my account was a fraud so they block me. And the rest just calling replacing the card. just 2 months i had to replace 4 times. It's not worth the time because i got a "bad history" with my apptfor me being late on payment.

You don't need to have a WF account prior to applying. After you apply and get approved, you still don't need a WF to pay your monthly credit card bill; you can pay via the Bilt app. However, if you want to use auto pay or any other features that the Bilt app may not offer, then you'll need to create a WF account.

And also take advantage of the 6X-4X-2X earning rates on the 1st, too 😃💵 When applying for cards across different banks, a "3 month rule" does not exist. Apply as you wish. The WOH card will be worth it for some and not for others. Depends on your goals. Start with the goal first...not the card...to figure out which ones fill the gaps for your needs.

Congrats on your approval, Scott! Not a way for me to say the degree to which a preexisting relationship helped. I'd say the limit has more to do with income vs. debts vs. other factors. It's an algorithm, so a lot gets considered.

Everybody's Bilt cards are getting hacked. That's not Wells Fargo's or Bilt's fault - people can be so obtuse. They blocked 17 of the charges, and wiped out the 1 fraudulent charge that got through on mine the next day...I don't know what people are worried about. My new card will be here next week, in plenty of time before I need to use it on Bilt Rent Day. Charge it and drive on.

While you probably 'can,' I personally wouldn't in order to avoid potential account suspension for misuse. Per Bilt: "Your Bilt Rent Account can be used for rent and rent-related charges. Sebby introduced me to simple Amazon account loads to keep cards active but since this card has a restaurant 6x on the first of every month, it would make sense if there was a well known restaurant that had an easy way to load funds in small amounts on a restaurant app. My kids love Krispy Kreme and I could add $1 5x each month. 🧐 McD’s doesn’t have a “bank” to store funds unfortunately. 🤷‍♀️ I just don’t want to add Bilt to my wallet for normal large purchases. That’s for SUBs!

That Spanish caught me off guard lol, but honestly your accent is pretty good! Almost sounds like a mix of an American and Colombian accent if you ask me I think your articulation of letter sounds could use some work as Spanish is a language where every letter should be heard clearly but pronunciation is good!

Part of me is drawn to a blend of Colombian + various Caribbean pronunciations which often omit certain letters, especially words ending in "s". So instead of saying: - Acá tenemos todos los términos y condiciones. It'd be said as: - Acá tenemo' todo lo' termino' y condicione. So unlike Mexican Spanish where every letter & sound is pronounced, that's not the case at all in the Caribbean (and so far that's what I prefer) 🌴✌

Thanks! I learned basic grammar, etc. in school when I was younger, but that didn't help me speak. So now I'm just listening to the radio, watching tv series on Lingopie, and other series on Netflix on my own. At this time I'm only aware of the Bilt card working for rent, not for owned real estate.
