You don't realise how gorgeous your hair looks with the grey temples when pull your hair up. I'm 6ms into my grey roots and loving it. It took me years to accept my grey and I hated the way i had a halo going around the crown I thought it looked odd but now it's no big deal to me. Thanks for sharing 🇬🇧

Love your hair! The color looks really good on you. I started getting gray hair when I turned 16. Runs in the family. My brothers were 9 y/o. I grew tired of coloring it (lazy😂). I felt about letting my gray show the way I feel about my new braid locs (yikes!), but I keep my eyes on the prize. I’m sticking with these locs. You’re beautiful with your color. Whenever the time comes that you’ll want to rock your gray, you’ll know it💕

I too was hoping to keep my gray in the temple and nape areas of my head, but I just can't seem to embrace it as planned. Your tip on using brown dye instead of black is well appreciated. How often do you apply the dye? Btw your hair looks very healthy and bouncy in that braid out.

Thanks so much. I’ll only redo it once it starts to look like I’ve glued cotton balls to my temples again, so it really depends on how fast the color fades. I don’t mind the gray, I just don’t want it in big patches.

I have had grey hair my entire life, since I was a little girl, now as am getting older, it’s starting show up around my edges, especially at the temple by my ears, I don’t like that look either, I use henna and indigo powder, to colour my hair, whenever I use hair dye my hair breaks, so I stick to henna, the indigo sometimes don’t work, so am stuck with an orange hairline, which I hate, sometimes I use mascara to mask the orange color

The problem is that it’s in my temples, and that hair is so sensitive and easy to break, I’m afraid I’d loose my hair there if I attempted to loc them, but that would be a unique look.

I didn’t dye my grays until a year into my locs. My hair is fine, and soft. It would have unraveled.
