The one thing I hope everyone takes from this who are looking to get locs is that you don't have to be stuck on this insane number of locs or trying to get 400 locs to achieve a beautiful, full mane. It's just incredible that you have 276 and it looks like you have 500. Your locs are EVERYTHING!!!! I love your videos Val, keep bring them. I dont care if you talk about the same thing, we just want to see this georgeous hair of yours!

That was me that requested the video. Thanks so very much for sharing again (I went searching and found an older video you'd made). I really do appreciate your taking the time to read and respond. And I'm sure you get this a lot but - your locs are absolutely gorgeous😍Also, I just started following you on IG - you're just an all round inspiration.

Absolutely Stunning!!!!🥰 ....your locs overall are Beautiful but the fullness just hits different!🤗 One of the reasons I prefer the post retie look is because my microlocs are bigger and just flow with ease 🤗

I am inspired by ur locks, I am trying to style mine like yours I hv the length and thickness but not volume like urs. People always admire my locks mostly carribean people, although hm here I get lots of compliments. But urs sistah is absolutely gorgeous. I followed all ur locks videos, very very impressed. Thank you, Val. Lots of love to u & Ron. Congrats on Restaurant!!!!!! ❤

Thank you so much for the video. I too am locked and have been for the last 6 years. Like you I'm hair lazy and locking was the best choice I made. Maintenance is required but its minimal.

Your locs are gorgeous 😍 and perfect (size & width) I just cut all my hair off to start over and make sure i have healthy hair and scalp. I really want locs someday. I need to check out your daughter's channel and see how her locs are doing. Take care, be blessed.

Hi, I just found your page. We have the same amount of locs and I look forward to mine growing to be just as beautiful. Please can you make a video on how you maintain locs while working out. I sweat on my scalp and it’s been a struggle with working out

Hi, loving your hair! I was wondering about your haircut. Is this a layered bob cut? Youdid you cut it yourself? If so could you please give instructions?
@LivinDivine3 жыл бұрын
Yes, it’s layered, and I do it myself. I have a video in my locs playlist that demonstrates how I layer it.

The Joico conditioner is for thick hair so I wonder how it will work on thin and fine hair. Your thoughts on that?
@2013lovemy3 жыл бұрын
If I ever restart and go really small, this is what I’d do. Braidlocs and self maintain. I can imagine actually enjoying the retie as “me” time (do it while watching Netflix on the couch, after the kids are in bed lol).
@The_ClayDayz Жыл бұрын
Hi beautiful lady. Do you still use Paul Mitchell's Two for clarifying shampoo then follow up with Joico balm or do you use a moisturizing shampoo before conditioner? Thanks.

When you say you started with braids what do you mean by that? Is that different from two strand or coil ?

I really want some but they're so expensive
@LivinDivine3 жыл бұрын
They can be expensive, that's why I had to install mine myself. I refused to pay a mortgage for my hair. Other than it costing me a weekend, mine were free.
