They turned out beautifully. I just feel like something is missing without having a gilded tag or label with the couple's names and the date of the event included with the flowers. 😊

These are beautiful bookends! Where would you locate the date, names or anything pertaining to the event? Also, what would you use to make the stickers or whatever!? Thank you!

Thank you so much ❤️ I use a cricut joy (it’s a mini version of the regular cricut) to make my stickers!

Love it! Why do you go along the sides with the stick? Is it to remove some bubbles or to make sure it seeps evenly? Those were my two guesses

These are so beautiful, what an amazing job you do, would you mind doing a video on witness lines? As I dont see any on yours. Thanks ❤😊

It’s purely due to the nature of using resin that there will be bubbles & micro air bubbles, are your clients generally understanding of this as well as understanding some flowers may change colour, possibly yellow once in the resin? I’m only asking as I use resin but not for casting dried flowers - only tried it once to make keyrings and was frustrated at how much the colours of the flowers I used turned yellowish brown & thought I did something wrong, so I’ve been hesitant to explore doing this further…also, do you let your clients know that overtime, there is a possibility the resin will start to yellow ( given most resins will do this over time) ? This came out beautiful - it sure is a lot of time & patience but worth the result 😊

What depth do you recommend with each pour? Also what resin are you using? Deep pour?
@marinamakesart10 ай бұрын
I recommend around 0.3” thickness per layer. That’s what I aim for. I use KSRESIN liquid cast, the link is in the description box below 🙏

Thank you for the detailed video. I’ve already been doing floral preservation with Shadowbox from special occasions, but would like to branch out in what I can offer. How much resin is needed to complete these bookends?

I didn't know that i can use heat gun in molds .i was afraid to damage it
@marinamakesart6 ай бұрын
You can use a heat gun as long as you don’t use it too much and overheat the resin and silicone mold
