RESIN SAFETY
Please use resin with care. Any health and safety questions should be asked directly to the company of the resin you use. Read your product safety data sheet (SDS) before using, always wear PPE- nitrile gloves, respirator and goggles or a full-face respirator. Do it in an open, ventilated area- separate to your living spaces. Long sleeved clothing is also advised. Ok how do you make them clear again AFTER you sand?? I am having so much trouble with that part!

I just sand the edges so that way it doesn't scratch up the flat part

@@dianablocker3952 you can dome your piece, which is adding a thin layer of resin. With this, your piece will be shiny and glossy!

@@kyflymusic I tried that with some coasters I made after watching a gazillion videos. Somehow now have to do it again because it was too much and went to the other side and I can feel it along the edges isn't smooth anymore from where I tried to rub it around. I've only been doing resin for abiut a month so I've got so much to learn!

@@dianablocker3952 when I first started, I definitely made so many mistakes, but that’s the fun in learning a new craft! 😆 Try putting liquid latex on the bottom of your coasters so that when the overspill happens, you can peel off the excess resin!

@@SeriouslyCreative PET is a type of sticker. :) It's generally the thin clear ones, with vibrant printings of butterflies/etc.
