Don't forget gloves. I just had my first dermatitis experience earlier this week from UV resin. Got to protect yourself although I would be showing off those nails if they were mine. Soo pretty!! 😍😍😍

You’d need to use non UV resin :) normal resin takes about 24 hours to dry completely !!

Yes, you have to use a UV light! Or some can take half uv/led. Double check your resin curing instructions through

It’s better if you use a heat gun to pop the bubbles the lighter messes the mold up

UV resin ONLY cures under UV light while regular resin takes over 24hrs to manually cure by itself I believe. Both are hazardous to breath in in small spaces and pls wear gloves!!! Do more research before using it on ur own for ur safety !!!

Before doming the back, I would print out a piece of card stock paper with the phone number and then modepodge the life out of it to seal it , or just go laminate it 😅 and then make sure it’s cut down to size and place it on the back and then dome over it with clear resin! There might be an easier way to do it though, like maybe with stickers lol. I suggest doing a bit more research , I’m so sorry this wasn’t very helpful 😅

I really like the one I’m using! It was also my first time trying it and having it in a bottle vs mixing 2 part resin was so much easier to use and clean up afterwards. I also bought it off of wish as it was much cheaper !

My UV resin barely had a smell but I worked in a very open space with good ventilation. You should also probably wear a mask of some sort and gloves (I am a bad example in this video, sorry)

Do you get any issues with bubbles or imperfections on the outer edges and if you do or did how could I fix it from happening

Not any on the outer edges! I got some air bubbles in the middle of the first one (clear one that says zoey) but there’s not much you can do about it afterwards. You can try filing down the edges if it happens but you’ll have to re dome it with resin again to make it even!

If you’re using normal resin, stir very slowly and run a lighter over it after pouring. With UV resin, you can really only run a lighter over it after pouring since it’s already in a bottle itself and doesn’t need to be mixed.

I think you have a misunderstanding gurl! I'm pretty sure it's not that your light is weak but that you're using the wrong mold. For UV resin it's recommended that you use a clear mold so that the UV rays can go through fully from all the sides including the back. Another thing is that when you're curing it once you're done with the top turn it over to cure on the back. I hoped this helped!

She is right, her UV lamp is kinda weak. I have that one too and my pieces took forever to cure. It is only 3 or 6W, I guess? I recommend using atleast 36W led lamp. :)
